“I never have removed, or wished to remove, this gorgeous Silkstone Lingerie #5 Barbie from her box. She is fastened to an inner white box inside of the decorative box. Both boxes look minty. Back in 2005 --the year of purchase -- it was while I was trying to peek at the base (yes, I was excited!) and examine the doll's wrist tag that the right end of the gold ribbon slid out of the label. While folding back the tissue so that I could display the doll in an open box inside my doll curio-cabinet, I made a tiny tear in the lower right corner of the tissue. (Please see photo #11.) I placed one piece of scotch tape on the back of the label.”
